As many followers of our ventures may have noticed in the photos, there’s a large tattoo on Rob’s back. One that tells a personal story of his, and although not directly related to the project’s storyline: It’s there. A part of the life of the man behind the character.
In July 2025, something wonderful happened. 11 years after their last encounter, when they collaborated on an exhibition in Luxembourg, Rob was able to meet Horiren 1st in Amsterdam. The master who created the tattoo between 2006 and 2008.
The reunion was a memorable moment as this time Rob could provide Horiren with a piece of art on behalf of Anna and himself, many years after Horiren shared her gift of art with him.
